Essex Solutions Spreads Holiday Cheer with St. Vincent de Paul and Fun-filled Trivia Event

This holiday season was no exception, as the plant once again rallied together to support the St. Vincent de Paul Society, a vital organization that provides essential services such as a food bank, a soup kitchen, and Christmas baskets to those facing hardship in the community.

Since 1958, the facility has been an integral part of Simcoe, employing hundreds of local residents and producing high-quality magnet wire. Over the years, team members developed a deep connection with the community, and this tradition of giving back is something that the team takes great pride in.?

This year’s campaign, once again organized by the facility’s Social Committee, was a resounding success. The committee, composed of employees from various departments within the office, coordinated a food and monetary donation drive that was open to everyone. The response was overwhelming, and the collective effort resulted in a significant contribution to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank. Enough food was donated to fill an entire pickup truck, along with a generous monetary contribution.?

In addition to the donation drive, the employees had some fun with a holiday-themed event. A spirited Holiday Trivia Quiz took place, featuring questions about the Simcoe facility’s history and fun facts about the team. Employees eagerly participated, testing their knowledge of the history and their colleagues. The winner of the trivia quiz received an impressive prize adding some extra excitement to the festivities.
