Essex Solutions’ Initiatives Support Families in Franklin, Indiana

The holiday season is a time for reflection, gratitude, and, most importantly, giving back to those in need. At the Essex Solutions Franklin, Indiana facility, the spirit of giving is alive and well, as they embark on three heartfelt initiatives to make a difference in the lives of local families this year.

As part of their commitment to supporting the community, the team is rallying to collect donations for three important causes, offering employees the opportunity to directly contribute to those who may need a little extra help this holiday season.

The first initiative is a partnership with the Franklin Police Department’s Toy Drive, which aims to provide gifts to children in the area who may not otherwise receive presents this holiday season. The Franklin team is inviting everyone to bring new, unopened toys to place in the donation collection box located at the front office.

Next, the group is proudly supporting the United Way ’s Christmas Angels program, which focuses on providing gifts for?children and teens?in the area. This year, the team has committed to adopting several teenagers, with a goal of providing each one with both a gift and an outfit. Employees can get involved by selecting specific items from the Christmas Giving Tree, or by making a cash donation toward the purchase of the gifts.

In addition to these two initiatives, the team is also supporting a third-grade classroom of 37 students from a local area. Many of these children are in need of warm clothing as the winter season sets in, and employees are hoping to provide each student with a sweatshirt, gloves, a hat, and a small educational gift.?

“These initiatives are just a few of the many ways our team works to make the holiday season brighter for families in need,” Pam Martin, Human Resources Manager said. “I am always so encouraged to see everyone spreading warmth, joy, and hope to those who could use a little extra support this season. Together, we are really making a difference in our community.”
