Essex Furukawa Spreads Joy with Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, Food Bank Donation

Essex Furukawa Magnet Wire gave thanks to its employees and demonstrated its commitment to the Fort Wayne community with its annual Turkey Giveaway. The act of generosity was aimed to spread holiday cheer as well as support local families in need during the Thanksgiving season.

Lead by Jared Rowntree , President of North American Magnet Wire, the company gave away a truckload of turkeys to its team in Fort Wayne while also donating directly to the Community Harvest Food Bank.

“This is the time of year when we all want to share our gratitude,” Rowntree said. “We’re proud of this team and happy for the opportunity to show our appreciation for an incredible group of people.”

The Fort Wayne turkey giveaway—as well as similar events at other plant locations—have been resounding successes. Employees have been thrilled to receive a delicious turkey to share with loved ones, enhancing the spirit of togetherness and gratitude that Thanksgiving represents.

?The commitment to giving back extends beyond Essex Furukawa employees. Recognizing the vital role played by the Community Harvest Food Bank in supporting the local community, the company donated an additional 50 turkeys to the organization.
