Funding opens window of opportunity for Channelglaze?

A family-owned manufacturer of canal boat windows has secured an £80,000 funding package to innovate and boost employment opportunities.

Channelglaze, based in Tyseley in Birmingham, secured £60,000 in funding from business investment specialists UKSE and a further £20,000 grant via Central Business Finance to invest in a 3D printer. Channelgaze Ltd are members of of the Inland Waterways Association.

Essentra , a leading provider of essential components and solutions, is accelerating the integration of its recently acquired BMP TAPPI business and in particular trials of more sustainable alternatives to single use plastics in the manufacture of future ranges of protective caps and plugs.

Working closely with colleagues at the Essentra Centre of Excellence in Kidlington, UK, tests are being conducted.
