?
We share?with you action steps we take?to recover cargo claims from airlines.?

The Legal Stuff: Why You Have Rights
Here's the good news, airlines have a contractual obligation to deliver your shipment in three key ways:
?
? In one piece: They gotta get it to you in the same condition they received it. No mysterious dents or damage allowed!
? All there: Every single package you sent needs to arrive. No disappearing acts!
? On time: Speedy delivery is key, especially for those perishables.
?
Air Cargo Claim Time Limits
Just like catching a connecting flight, there are deadlines for air cargo claims. Thanks to the Montreal Convention (an agreement that keeps things fair in international air cargo), these are the time limits you need to remember:

?
?? Total loss: If your shipment vanishes completely, you have 120 days from the airway bill date to file a claim.
?? Partial loss or damage: Notice anything missing or worse for wear? You have 14 days from receiving the goods to file a claim.
?? Delay: Your precious cargo arrived fashionably late? You have 21 days from when it should have been delivered to file a claim.
?
Who Can File the Claim?
The person filing the claim needs to be the shipper or consignee (receiver) listed on the main airway bill.?
?
But hey, if you need help from a recovery agent or insurance company, they can step in – just make sure they have a "Subrogation Letter" or "Letter of Assignment" from you, giving them the go-ahead.
