The story is about a wise king who wanted to learn the essence of Tamil literature. He asked his scholars to read many books and write a book summarizing them. They did, but the king was not satisfied. He asked them to make it shorter until it was only one page. Still, he wanted more. He asked them to condense it into one sentence relevant to all generations. They thought hard and devised a brilliant sentence that the king loved. It said: “What you have done to this world is what the world will do for you”.

This quote says the world reacts to your deeds, good or bad, based on your conduct. It means karma exists and you should watch your actions because they will impact you.
