A team is not simply a group of people you work with on a daily basis. A team is a group of people that together achieve a common goal. Team members are interdependent and care about each other. Daniel Escobar is an experienced Learning and Development leader who is passionate about bringing individuals and groups together to build engagement in the company culture and personal accountability for their performance and results.?Daniel discussed teamwork and how to best foster it as a leader in this episode of StyleLearn Origins .

World War II Era

Seems like teamwork was a main focus for society in the 1940s. Great examples are seen with military magazines like Army Talks, and the beautiful children's book Two is a Team by Lorraine and Jerrold Beim.

Army Talks

Army Talks was a classified publication dedicated to service men and women in the European Theater of Operations. This whole issue is dedicated to teamwork and highlights the importance of discipline as the foundation of teamwork.

Two is a Team

We often talk about the power of storytelling for training support and learning. The children's book Two is a Team is quite impactful considering its time of publication and insightful illustration of teamwork as a unifying factor among us.

Thank you for including approaches that include our youngest citizens in creating strong and effective teams. As an educator of young children, I have seen the benifits of including curriculum materials that teach how to be collaborative and the rewards of team work!

Proud to have been a part of it and can't wait to do it again with you, Alexander Salas! We make a pretty good team!
