That quote has played a major factor in my approach to growth in the workplace, market place and any community I find myself in.

Welcome to my 1st edition of RICH INSIGHTS: Guides and tips that are helpful to live the optimal life in the workplace, marketplace, and community.

You will agree with me that Learning and development have entered a new era. We’re ditching the old-school training manual and time-consuming learning.?

Thanks to the rise of modern, user-friendly learning strategies such as Learning management systems, training can even be easily managed and delivered online as it’s done here on LinkedIn. There’s simply never been a better time to learn! And, having an effective learning and development plan in place can make all of the difference in doing better work.

We could go on and on about the benefits of training. Learning and development offer a good opportunity for teams to grow their knowledge base and improve their job skills to become more effective in the workplace.

Consequently, as one continues learning one will be acquiring more skills; because every task comes with its shade of experience. (As depicted in the illustration)

Despite the cost of training for employees, the return on investment is endless if training is consistent and relevant.

After all, if your company shows they are investing in YOU, aren’t you more likely to invest in THEM?
