Esri signs Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Arabia’s National Real Estate Registration Services Company

Dubai, UAE.—August?08, 2023—?Esri , the global leader in location intelligence, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with?the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s?National Real Estate Registration Services Company (Real Estate Registry - RER).?The Real Estate Registry?participated in the 2023 Esri User Conference, held from July 10 to 14 in San Diego, California, USA,?where they showcased their?use of the latest?GIS?technologies in the field of documentation and information auditing.?Esri’s MOU with the Real Estate Registry serves?to develop GIS in?the Kingdom?and to enhance cooperation in related fields between both parties.

The CEO of the Real Estate Registry, Dr. Mohammed Al-Suleiman, presented the vision and objectives of the Real Estate Registry at the conference, and the role of GIS technology in developing, organizing, improving the efficiency of, and enhancing the transparency of the real estate sector.?Implemented in the Kingdom at the beginning of last May,?The?organization’s?use of geospatial survey technologies,?aerial imaging, and GIS?enables them to?analyze?and track?real estate data and assets in order to register properties in the Kingdom in an effective and reliable manner.

Dr. Al-Suleiman pointed out the "importance of applying geographic technology in facilitating verification, analysis, and management of real estate data, as these technologies can contribute to improving the quality of real estate services provided to citizens and investors and can play a crucial role in promoting transparency and confronting various challenges in the real estate sector."
