ESL FACEIT Group becomes official operator of Esports World Cup

ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) has entered into a multi-year partnership with the Esports World Cup, becoming its official operating partner. The Esports World Cup, which began on July 3 and will conclude on August 25, features 22 competitions with a combined prize pool of $60 million. This move follows the merger of Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pyjamas and Chinese esports brand ESV5 in early 2023.

The IPO marks a significant milestone for NIP Group, which operates several esports teams and brands, including eStar Gaming and Shinobi Esports. The company’s co-CEOs, Hicham Chahine and Mario Ho, celebrated the listing by ringing the NASDAQ Opening Bell. Global Esports Federation launches Social Impact Initiative

The Global Esports Federation (GEF) has introduced the Global Social Impact Initiative (GSII) at the UNESCO “Change the Game” Sport Conference in Paris. Champion and FURIA announce merchandise collection

North American sportswear brand Champion has teamed up with Brazilian esports organization FURIA to create a limited-edition apparel line. GOALS announces Women’s Community Cup
