ESL FACEIT Group and Ghostframe partner for IEM Cologne 2023

ESL FACEIT Group and Appario Global Solutions have announced that Ghostframe will be used for the Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2023 broadcasts. Ghostframe is a broadcasting tool that enhances viewers' quality by utilizing hidden chroma keys, camera tracking, and augmented reality.

EFG will be capable of creating various localized broadcast feeds with different advertisements and assets. IEM Cologne will be the first esports event to feature Ghostframe technology.

Korean Air partners with Korean national Esports team for Asian Games

Korean Air will create marketing activations around the Asian Games, which will debut esports as an official medal sport. After being successfully held as a demonstration event at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, the 19th edition of the Asian Games will feature seven esports titles, ranging from PC titles such as Dota 2 and League of Legends to mobile games like PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor.

Furthermore, the airline’s logo will be displayed on the uniforms of South Korea’s esports team. READ MORE

Uber Eats activates partnership with Activision through 10-hour Call of Duty LAN event

BUILD A ROCKET produced a 10-hour Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II livestream featuring german content creators HoneyPuu, Rewinside, LetsHugo and Amar. The content creators took part in various interactive challenges, raffles, and quizzes to win Call of Duty and Uber Eats themed giveaway packages for their communities. Uber Eats provided the content creators with food throughout the entire day.

The event was broadcasted on each of the respective streamers' Twitch channels and amassed 7 million minutes of watch time across all broadcasts. WATCH HERE

British Esports strikes two-year deal with Dell and Intel

British Esports, a national organization created to support grassroots esports in the UK, has unveiled a two-year collaboration with tech giants Dell and Intel. This partnership names Dell and Intel as the official technology and hardware partners, while also appointing Alienware as the official hardware provider for the National Esports Performance Campus (NEPC) located in Sunderland.

The collaboration will highlight how esports fosters the development of 21st-century skills, innovative education, and career pathways that drive economic growth across a wide range of related sectors, from the STEM field to creative and digital industries to sports and beyond. READ MORE

Riot Games' Project L playable at Evo 2023

Riot Games' new game, Project L, will be playable for the first time in public at the fighting games tournament convention Evo. Project L is the fighting game announced by Riot Games at their 10-year anniversary event back in 2019.
