ESPF performance in FY 2016-2017

This financial year ESPF has achieved many unprecedented milestones, namely, a Turnover of Rs. 3025 Cr. and FG/Sales of 613,768 mt, among others.

We have also pole vaulted the Colour Coated Production to 326,000 mt. We have an unrivaled and humongous market share in PPGI of over 50% in the domestic market with an outreach to even the far flung corners of India through the “Essar Omnipresence campaign”, and an international presence in more than 110 countries (and counting)!

In the month of March 2017, we have achieved a collection figure of Rs. 360 Cr., the highest in a single month for ESPF. For the whole financial year, our collection stands at Rs. 3,179 Cr. To illustrate:

I am also pleased to inform that we have not received even a single claim (for paint peeling). In fact, some European customers compare our quality to be better than Arcelor Mittal. Many domestic customers have gone on record to state that they prefer Essar for Prepainted as it has the lowest lead times compared to any other supplier.

I am inspired by the book, "Sons of Wichita" by Daniel Schulman which encapsulates the philosophy of Charles Koch (the Promoter of Koch Industries, the largest trading house in America), who states: "Growth is my religion!". We in ESPF have consummated and epitomized this growth principle by sweating the asset fully.

Personally & professionally, we are in search of new boundaries, new frontiers and new thresholds. Let me end by paraphrasing Rabindranath Tagore: “Into that heaven of freedom, O Lord, let us awake!”
