As a firmware developer working with RainMaker, the workflow looks like this:

1. You create apps with the help of Espressif's open-source ESP-IDF SDK and the RainMaker Agent.
2. You can expose any device parameters in the application's firmware that you want to manipulate externally.
3. These properties are synced with the RainMaker cloud via the RainMaker agent. The RainMaker cloud transparently exposes the device parameters to phone apps and other services. This does not necessitate writing any code on the cloud. AWS Serverless services are used to build the cloud application.
4. The RainMaker phone applications then repaint themselves to show the user the device parameters. Toggling a phone button allows you to read or change these properties.
5. The existence of a Python client library allows you to access the same parameters via command-line or python applications, which you can then connect to any other services.
