ESG communications: More than an annual event
Dix & Eaton
Integrated marketing and communications firm that drives impact and results.
Providing Timely ESG Communications
Sharing your environmental, social and governance (ESG) story is more than an annual event – it requires ongoing, timely communications to ensure your stakeholders understand your strategy, approach and milestones. In some cases, communications can be tailored to specific audiences, such as investors.
We recently partnered with Huntington National Bank to develop its ESG Report Preview, which demonstrates the company’s commitment to transparent, timely disclosures and is intended to lay the foundation for the 2022 ESG Report. The ESG Report Preview was published around the time of Huntington’s annual meeting of shareholders. In doing so, Huntington provided investors with important highlights and data ahead of its comprehensive 2022 ESG Report and TCFD Report, which will both be published later this year. Key elements of Huntington’s ESG Report Preview include:
- Reinforcing the company’s ESG strategy
- Introducing the company’s new Chief ESG Officer
- Providing an update on the company’s materiality assessment and stakeholder priorities
- Reporting 2022 data and highlights
Delivering stakeholder-driven, relevant ESG communications in a timely manner is something that our team can help you think through for your organization.
