e*SCAPE Rural assists landowner in delivering offsite BNG within the High Peak
e*SCAPE Rural has joined forces with other local offsite BNG providers to create a network of independent landowners who know their own land and want to improve the environment in their local areas of Cheshire East, High Peak and Tameside.
This network ensures that local developments requiring offsite BNG provision will reinvest the vast majority of the payments into the local economy and provide both economic and environmental benefits for the community.
There are no external or remote ?investors involved in this process and each estate is managed by the landowner, creating a personal relationship with developers requiring offsite provision in that local authority or national character area.
Our first landowner to be featured is located in High Peak and the Peak District National Park to the north east of Chapel-en-le-Frith.? The estate is within the Dark Peak National Character Area.
The landowner is bringing an initial 10.78 units of Good Condition Upland Acidic Grassland to the market with an option to bring in an additional 6.88 hectares of farmland which has the potential to create additional upland acidic grassland, woodland, wetlands and river units.
The prospectus for this site can be dowloaded here: 23_002_001_RevB_BNG_Prospectus_Lowres.pdf
We are working with our ecologists; Tyler Grange, on all of these land holdings to ensure that the quality of the habitats being created meets the needs of developers and requirements of the local planning authorities.
If you require units in the High Peak, Cheshire East or Tameside then drop me a message for more information and a prospectus.
Proud to be working with you Roger, building the provision of local farmer lead habitat for BNG and wider conservation needs
