It is just a normal response to the stimulus of stress. Therefore, rather than pushing away the inevitable, make friends with it. Understand why it happens, and deal with the cause.
2. Excite the anxiety
Once you are able to identify the root, practice to face it. If is public speaking, go ahead and make presentation. If it is interpersonal communication that scares you, starting saying “Hi” to your co-workers. Remember, a problem is best solved than ignored.
3. Make yourself happy
Relish healthy lifestyle, go out with friends and family, spend quality time with yourself and do what makes you happy. This will go memorable moments and energy to deal with upcoming anxiety.
6. Decide for yourself
It’s okay to make your mind stop advising you. Not every time it is right. The way you mind process the situation may be out of habit. You should go ahead and start thinking in a new creative way. Ignore all the analytical negative conclusions that your mind is making for any situation. See what positive can come out of it.
7. Ask for help
Many times feeling alone in any situation can exaggerate it. Ask for help from your family, friends and co-workers. Seek their perspective on your situation. Attend help from professionals.
8. Get appropriate sleep
Anxiety can take away your sleep and can leave you exhausted the next day causing even more stress. If you are fresh and have no fatigue you can efficiently manage your emotions and anxiety levels. To break this anxiety-no sleep-more anxiety cycle, you can try doing below things:
· Reading, taking a bath or practicing gentle yoga. This will relax your body and mind.
· Don’t drink coffee after 12 noon. Caffeine can stay in your body for up to 12 hours! Instead opt for detox water or green tea to get rid of your toxic fluids.
· Strictly follow your bed time schedule.
· Take two 15-minute “relaxation breaks” in the day. Leave your office work at office itself. Get indulged in your personal life after office hours.
And, last tip that you must always remember – “It’s okay, just breathe”
