I’m Esakkiammal Shenbagaraman (Esai), a chemical engineering graduate from SRM, and I’m passionate about contributing to society. Thanks to my college seniors, I connected with the incredible TQI community, and my experience has been nothing short of amazing.

The foremost event I participated in was "Joy of Giving Week", where we celebrated the 'joy of giving' with children at a nearby orphanage. When my team couldn't make it, I called upon friends and local kids to join, transforming an uncertain situation into one of the happiest moments of my life.

Another memorable experience was when my team and I visited an orphanage in Chennai. As we were about to cross a busy road carrying boxes, a group of youngsters from another NGO unexpectedly helped us. This act of kindness reinforced my belief in the power of community.

I continue to be a part of TQI because of the trust and freedom my team has in me. TQI has taught me to reach out to people confidently, face crowds without hesitation, and engage in in-depth learning from every opportunity.

Working with kids, teaching them life skills, and listening to their stories has been incredibly fulfilling. Their smiles and motivation provide a positive aura that words cannot describe. Volunteering has allowed me to discover new dimensions of myself, face challenges with optimism, and maintain emotional stability through all of life’s obstacles.

Through TQI, I’ve found my passion and a zest for life. Each volunteering experience has contributed to my personal growth, self-reflection, and unwavering determination. I am grateful to the TQI family for providing a platform to learn and explore the world, which has brought me pure bliss.

I believe everyone has unique talents that should be respected and encouraged by society. Finding your passion and pursuing it, despite the challenges, makes life meaningful.
