V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking an ERP PM/BA for our premier client in Chicago, Illinois. This is a contract to hire position in the teaching industry.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Education and Experience ?
- BS/BA degree in computer science, information systems, health care or related fields desirable.
- PMP certification desirable. Relevant experience may be substituted for formal training.
- Extensive background with ERP systems, preferably Infor/Lawson in a HealthCare environment.
- Experience with implementing information system applications and technologies.
- Experience with multiple corporate application systems to facilitate mentoring and guiding segments of the team.
- Seven or more years project management experience typically preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ?
- Management - Leads large complex projects (duration 6 months+), that may include management of Team Leads.
- Follows strong project management skills and contributes to standard implementation methodologies and management best practices.
- Coordinates activities across support, projects and optimization efforts.

- Identifies risks and proposes mitigation strategies.
- Communication & Influencing - Builds constructive and effective relationships internally and externally. Translates informal and incomplete information into actionable direction.
- Leads project teams to consensus.
- Teacher, Mentor & Personal Growth - Mentors team members by example.
- Provides constructive feedback.
- Coordinates internal or external training for IS employees.
- Business Sense - Applies multiple technologies to solve business problems.
- Understands the organizational culture and works within to solve problems.

- Budgeting – Accountable for project budgets.
- Assists IS management with budget projections for new initiatives.
- Thorough knowledge of formal project management techniques and tools through training and direct experience (MS Project or other project scheduling tools)
- Command of common office tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and MS Project)
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Directs analysis, design, development of assigned projects
- Develops system documentation and develops system specifications and procedures.
- Insures that user requirements are defined and documented
- Develops system specifications and procedures.
- Directs project planning activities using project management methodologies.
- Coordinates and leads IT projects; monitoring project process, progress and results.
- Insures that there is adequate system test plans and system testing before implementation
- Provides on-site user support during implementations.
- Must handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Follows Change Management processes.
- Collaborates with colleagues.
