Ericsson launches Enterprise 5G Coverage Neutral Host Solution in US Market. Does this kill off traditional DAS?

Ericsson has launched a neutral host 5G solution that assures all three nationwide mobile operators to the Enterprise from Day 1 of implementation which, previously, has been the unicorn every neutral host has tried to deliver but could not.

Does this replace DAS in an NFL stadium? Unlikely. But it will likely replace DAS in the enterprise verticals such as hospitality, medical, higher education, and other verticals that have been plagued with access to only one, if they are lucky, two mobile operators but never three.

Additionally, the solution can also support private 5G on top of the neutral host solution.

This model is likely to be ported to other countries/regions given Ericsson's relationships with the mobile operators. This new solution spells trouble for traditional DAS equipment vendors and small cell vendors in the US and potentially in other regions as well as any VARs that were hoping to provide 5G private network solutions to the Enterprise market in the US.
