Erick Ibarra

Meet Erick Ibarra… a dynamic and joyful guy, he is a co-Founder and Mexico Director of SGY Logix.

Erick was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, his two passions are spending time with his family, his wife Gretel and his little girl Alex, and he has a good eye to capture moments that will last forever with his camera, he′s an excellent photographer.

As he lives in Montreal his favourite hockey team are the Montreal Canadians… Go Habs Go! He is a Formula 1 fan as well… he knows a lot about motorsport, Scuderia Ferrari and McLaren are among of his favourite teams. His favourite TV show is The Office (U.S) and when he finds free time, he likes to play halo 3 on x box.

During his time at SGY Logix he finds that putting together solutions that work great for our customers, carriers and our team are the what he enjoys the most as well as well being in charge of I.T. , searching, selecting and buying the trucks… yes, he loves freightliners!

Erick also loves being on the road. During non-coronavirus time, he flies to our Mexico offices very often and he loves to spend facetime with the Mexico team, customers and prospects. He's developed great, long-standing friendships with clients, and carriers even if they work at different companies now.

Erick is a multiskilled guy, having worked as a waiter, call centre agent for a worldwide airline, and at some point, he even wore superheroes costumes and perform on acrobatic shows at events for kids… he is easy going!

SGY Logix has been operating for 5 years and Erick is proud of seeing how much the company has grown during this time… and with his commitment and dedication to the company, we will continue to grow for many more years.

One of the things that describes Erick is that is not afraid about pulling the trigger on ideas and try new things even if they may seem risky to others… he will develop them without being afraid of losing… he is the adventurous guy at SGY Logix.
