Erick Gaussens, formerly Chief Scientific Officer at PLG, becomes an Independent Scientific Adviser

Dear Colleagues, after having co-founded PLG and spent the past 21 years building and growing PLG and its teams, it is time for me to retire. There are two reasons for this decision: the first is that the age bell rang, but, more importantly, this is what my colleagues and I planned. We had set out a progressive business plan several years ago, with the goal first to develop a trans-national service approach blending consulting and outsourcing along and across product life cycles; second, to anticipate and respond to the digital transformation with innovative solutions and support; and third, to ensure the economic health and growth of PLG to attract an investor that would allow us to sustain and expand this growth. All three objectives have been achieved with 21 Invest becoming PLG’s principal shareholder in 2019. Over the past two years, I have been working with the senior management team and most recently with PLG's CEO Xavier Duburcq to set the stage for PLG’s future growth and to bring even greater value to our customers. With these set of professional goals achieved, I can move onto the next stage of my life, which will be to revitalise my artistic activities, while delivering independent consultancy in the fields of innovation and digital transformation. With this in mind, I will remain a Scientific Advisor for PLG, provide occasionally some level of consulting to its various teams and collaborate with a group of independent consultants addressing the C-level. I am proud of what we have achieved at PLG and am excited to watch PLG take on new challenges in the future
