Equixly Product Updates - January 2024
We're excited to share several significant improvements that enhance your #API #security #testing experience. Here are the key updates:
Extended API Definition Support
We've expanded our project creation capabilities to support WSDL format, enabling compatibility with SOAP protocol. You can now upload API definitions in OAS, Swagger, Postman, and WSDL formats, making Equixly more versatile for your diverse API testing needs.
New Authentication Options
Our authentication system has received two major improvements. First, we've introduced Custom Script Authentication which lets you write your own JavaScript files to programmatically define authentication methods, giving you complete flexibility in tailoring authentication processes to your specific requirements. Additionally, we've implemented AWS Cognito Integration, allowing you to seamlessly integrate with AWS Cognito's authentication mechanisms for higher quality and more reliable scan results.
Real-Time Scan Monitoring
Experience greater visibility into your security testing with live updates during scans. Monitor ongoing scans through our intuitive dashboard where you can identify issues in real-time, manage your authorization matrix, and review comprehensive HTTP history. This real-time visibility means you no longer need to wait for scan completion to start analyzing results and taking action.
Quickly Re-Testing Vulnerabilities
As a developer, you can quickly validate your fixes by retesting individual vulnerabilities. You don't even have to run a full security test anymore, making the validation process fast and intuitive. Instead of waiting for the security team to verify if an issue has been fixed, with Equixly you can simply click the "Retest" button to check a specific vulnerability.
Coming Soon: A Sneak Preview
We're also glad to give you a glimpse of what's brewing in our development labs. The biggest news is that aside from classic REST APIs, GraphQL support is just around the corner, expanding our API definition compatibility to support modern API architectures.
We're also working on powerful user-defined transformations that will give you control over your API security testing workflow.
These updates reflect our commitment to making API security testing more efficient, flexible, and comprehensive. We're continuously working to enhance Equixly API Security based on customer feedback, and we look forward to bringing you more improvements in the coming months.
