"I'm thrilled to be part of Groundwork USA's Equitable Brownfield Development Technical Assistance team, where I can see the impact of my work firsthand. Recently, I worked with a resident-led team in Paris, Kentucky, helping them throughout the process of transforming an old incinerator into a community asset. I worked with them to create surveys for their community, connected them with state and regional partners, facilitated webinars, and provided coaching on community engagement and environmental justice. They've since completed an EPA Phase 1 Assessment and are moving forward with Phase 2! I'm excited to see this community's commitment to environmental justice and revitalization, and I can't wait to share more about their progress. Keep an eye on Paris, Kentucky -- they're one to watch!" - John Valinch
