Equipped for Adventure
I held off on posting this shot from Tuesday because all my East Coast buddies were getting hammered with snow, and it seemed in poor taste to rave about the Spring skiing in Colorado, but the blizzard is over, and while you guys were digging out. I was Spring skiing. It was really hard to enjoy grilling Brats on the deck, in between making tele turns at Zip Basin, and yes “In the Mood” was very soft and wonderful, but someone had to do it.
Hope my “TNF Linkies” enjoy this collage, and as for my “Deck building Linkies,” yes that is "Wild Hog" railing with rough cedar, a great look for the Colorado mountains, not sure who built it but they did a great job, and as you can see it maximizes the view. No I wasn’t working, I was enjoying what might be a last chance to escape now that the building season is going crazy here, with the coldest day all week being tomorrow when it’s only gonna make it up to 69 degrees.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and Amanda enjoys her Saint Patties day!
God Bless,
David
Oh and by the way that was from the deck of the cabin at lift 8 at Loveland Ski area, a great place for a local boy to play and where else do they provide free gas grills, and a fireplace that encourages people to not only brown bag it but bring their own Brats.
