"Equality in real sense"

"Equality in real sense"

This advertisement?stuck with me when it said, "Raise us the way we were born- Equal !!!!!"

In the era of AI, where humans are pitted against AI, and AI itself competes with another AI, innovation is at its zenith, and technology is boundless!

What hasn't progressed much is gender diversity in the workplace and otherwise. There are still massive outdated STEREOTYPES.....girls like pink, girls don't like cars, girls can cry on almost anything..... can't play sports.....most importantly, they CANT make up to the top 5% of the CXO Workforce

As per the latest reports, here are some stats on the representation of women in the workforce- IT ~30%, Finance ~23%, Air Traffic Controllers 26%, Commercial Pilots 6%, CXO and Leadership just 5%. On the other hand, the Healthcare and Nursing sector is one where Women diversity is ~90% (huge round of applause)

Some reliable studies also show that gender equality has seen very marginal progress in the past five years, with global GPS (global gender parity) increasing from 0.60 to 0.61.

What do all these stats have to do with the advertisement quoted above????

To me, it clearly conveys, "RAISE YOUR GIRLS TO BE EQUAL, EMPOWERED, and ENIGMATIC."

As a mother to a daughter, as a responsible parent, and as a well-brought-up child of my parents. I strongly believe in instilling the right mindset from a very early age, giving not just the RIGHT EDUCATION to the girl child but fostering high confidence and self-esteem.....not typecasting girls with any stereotypes.

Most of the above or all of the above has to start from HOME.....BY US.....BY EVERY PARENT.....Let us all believe in our GIRLS and let them believe that they are POWERFUL, RELENTLESS, BEAUTIFUL, and BOUNDLESS!!

Encourage them until they start believing in themselves.....that they can be the LEADERS.....CHANGE AGENTS and TREND SETTERS.....Raise our GIRLS to grow up to be like Goddess DURGA.....INDIRA NOOYI.....NIRMALA SITHARAMAN.....DRAUPADI MURMUR.....KAMLA HARRIS.....TAYLOR SWIFT.....or anyone significant I may have missed unintentionally.

My parents believed in me. They raised me to believe in myself.....Following in their footsteps. I AM RAISING MINE.....to pursue her dreams, no matter how tough the goal may be.....how tiring it may be to get there.....how difficult it may seem..... whoever she is competing against.....but NEVER give up.

I did not give her WINGS but the confidence to FLY and FLY HIGH.....to only compete against HERSELF.....to not just FEEL but be "EQUAL" to be "HERSELF" !!

So true Pooja Shukla the world ?? has many other serious problems to fight than to spend our precious energy on unnecessary gender fights .. I do not even like the word “ Diversity “ Why are we diverse ..are the common species only men ? We complete each other and walk in life together . Life is a balance of two human forces of masculine and feminine energy … and they coexist beautifully ..

Exactly ?? Treating a boy and girl child equally is essential for fostering a sense of fairness, respect, and opportunity. By providing equal love, support, and opportunities for growth, we empower children to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to society, regardless of gender. It sets the foundation for a more just and equitable world for all.
