Since early childhood, boys are told that they are toxic. They are aggressive. Their exploration into sexuality is unwanted. OTOH, female sexuality is "sacred", female energy is "divine", and all men should embrace their inner female.
What are "toxic masculinity", "mansplaining?" and "#Me2" a symptom of?
Life is a winding path that comes without an instruction manual. Or rather, it comes with a confusing number of manuals; the Bible, the Quran, the Bhagavad Gita & the Tipitaka, to mention four.
I was recently told off for using the title "Headmaster" for my position in Surround Therapy . It was a term that could be connected with a part of history that we rather not remember ... when slaves had a master. I disagreed. According to Dictionary.com, "Headmaster" means "in charge of a school; the principal" in British English.
Mathew Warboys recently started a new venture - "Men matter too". He writes: Why is it called *MEN MATTER TOO*? The answer is simple = Because it carries the implicit assumption that women matter! Herein lies the mission of mine: To ensure that we can create a better understanding and cooperation between men and women in our world.

Equality does not mean blaming men for all the evil in the world. Or blaming women. It means seeking balance; the strengths of the feminine combined with the strengths of the masculine. To see that the need to protect the weak, a trait often attributed to men, is just as strong in women. That the wish to do good is equally strong in both genders.
Our approach may often be different. Women approach with compassion. Men with "what can I do to fix this?". The synergy of these two approaches is powerful.
When we approach the other gender with openness and curiosity, with a willingness to explore our differences, we approach Unity. Equality. Balance. Said in a video:

2 年You touched on a very sensitive topic, HRM Ueland. Equality is what each and every human being strive for, whether man or woman. Unfortunately there are still traditions and cultures that relegate women's roles to non-participative in every fiber of society except in the house. It was a long winding path, but women have slowly but surely shown that their brains match their male counterparts in all aspects of business, health, education, etc., even sports. Yet is one gender better than the other? Of course not. We are all created equal yet unique in our individuality as well????????
