The Engineering, Procurement and Services (EPS) project execution methodology is a systematic, process-oriented approach to managing a project from conceptualization to commissioning. The project first goes through a scope definition or pre-execution stage, where the process flowsheet and parameters are investigated and defined. Only once the flowsheet is finalized, the project moves on to the detailed design/engineering stage. Followed by Procurement, Construction, Start-Up and Commissioning.

Throughout the EPS project execution method, the project team works closely with the customer and stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The EPS project execution method is a flexible approach that can be adapted to suit the specific requirements of each project.

The benefits of applying the EPS contracting model lie within minimising all project risks. The key equipment is designed, specified and purchased by the technology supplier. This leads to less errors in the critical parts of the plant and minimises the process risk for end users. Clients are typically more knowledgeable about local suppliers in their regions or countries and are therefore better positioned to supply quality local goods and services. Combining the technology supplier and client strengths reduces schedule risk, as interfaces are minimised, and the project enjoys a low capital investment risk. This contracting model ensures that you obtain the process plant you asked for and still enjoy it 20 years down the line.

Define: During the?Concept Development phase we work closely with your team to define your process early on. At this stage we spend a considerable amount of time to understand your unique requirements. We apply our learnings from past projects to ensure that we develop the best solution with you. Due to our past project experience we can identify problems early on and define the most innovative solutions for them. We provide pre- and conceptual engineering and consulting services in this phase.

Plan: After the conceptual development has been completed we move into the?FEED?and?Basic Engineering?phase of your project with you. We have acquired specialised, scale-specific knowledge and a proven track-record to provide modular process plant solutions for your project. In this phase of the project we define the solution parameters, allowing us to define a basic engineering cost estimate, including CAPEX & OPEX, and prepare the project plan.

Do: At ProProcess we aim to optimise your project schedule while reducing costs. We achieve this by executing the?Detailed Design?and?Fabrication & Assembly?of the plant in parallel. We ensure that we supply your project with the best quality products available by pulling from our vast network of renowned and proven suppliers. Before your plant leaves our premises, we pre-commission and factory acceptance test (FAT) in your presence. This minimises costly repair on site.
