EPS conference lineup, AEG restructures, AAA 30under30 revealed ???

There are big changes announced at AEG today as the company restructures its international operation in a move to drive further grown outside the US. The realignment sees former AEG Asia Pacific president & CEO Adam Wilkes take up the new position of president and CEO of AEG Presents Europe & Asia-Pacific, while AEG Europe CEO Alex Hill will step up to assume leadership of all of AEG’s global real estate and venue operations outside of the US, in the new position of president and CEO, AEG International.

There’s also some big news from AAA, and our sister event the Event Production Show (EPS).? We have revealed who is included in the Access All Areas 30under30 Class of 2025, with the winners having been carefully selected from a record number of entrants. The final list features young execs from across the industry including Festival Republic , ASM Global , AEG Europe , TEG Live Europe , Engine No 4 , Red Bull , LS Events and Identity .

Meanwhile, we have also announced who will be under the spotlight on the main stage at the EPS Conference. They include AEG Presents CEO Steve Homer, End of The Road Festival MD Lauren Down , Live Nation SVP James Massing , George P. Johnson executive director creative technology Zara Kerwood , The Human Network/Identity CEO Michael Gietzen , Secret Cinema business development director Cat Botibol and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport’s Dan Humphreys, who is Euro 2028’s deputy national police coordinator.

In other news, LIVE?is seeking applications from live music industry leaders to join the board of trustees for the recently launched?LIVE Trust, ATG-operated?Swansea Arena has been rebranded Swansea Building Society Arena and Oak View Group International has appointed Donna Cross as director of business development.


Adam Wilkes and Alex Hill to lead restructured AEG international divisions

AEG has announced a restructuring of its international divisions as part of a strengthening of the company’s focus on international growth.

The realignment sees former AEG Asia Pacific president & CEO Adam Wilkes (pictured) take up the new position of president and CEO of AEG Presents Europe & Asia-Pacific. AEG said Wilkes has been instrumental in building the company’s footprint in Asia-Pacific since joining the company in 2011 as part of the company’s initial expansion into Asia. The new role will see him expand his reach to also oversee AEG Present’s European regional offices. He will relocate from Singapore to London later this year.

LIVE issues call for trustees

Wembley Stadium extends deal with EE for four years

The FA has agreed a four-year extension with EE that includes the naming rights to Wembley Stadium (cap. 90,000).

The deal has been agreed ahead of what is predicted to be a record year for England’s national stadium, with two million fans expected, during its summer concert window, to attend shows by headline acts such as Coldplay, Oasis, Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa, Guns N’ Roses, and Linkin Park.
