EPMX21 in Review

Helping the mortgage industry achieve home ownership so everyone feels empowered to be more | Co-Founder and CEO | Podcast Host | CMB
EPMX21 was an evolution in and of itself, and we really brought together something we are so proud of this year. We were able to come together as a family at EPM to understand each other and connect, and most importantly, become better leaders for each other and our communities in 2021.
Our attendees from all over the country came together and really embraced the content the speakers brought to us. We were all connected by the understanding that we are here to accomplish the same goals, understand each other from the same place, and make those lasting connections that will help continue to build our culture and help our communities. I couldn't ask for a better way to get inspired for the year ahead.
EPMx21 Expert Speakers
This year, our Guest Speakers blew us away with their expertise and ability to get to the heart of our mission and vision here at EPM. This year we had four new additions and brought back an old friend to guide us on how to take Compete to Win from conceptualization to action.
Waldo Waldman- Executive Leadership
Waldo brought his unique experience as a United States Airman and author of the book "Never Fly Solo" to connect with us and coach our team on executive leadership skills that are bigger than just what we do on the job but are about becoming who we are as people and being better every day.
Dr. David Leonardi- Health and Business
Dr. Leonardi is the expert on something that is so personally important to me and that I address a lot at EPM, and that's our health and wellness. He spoke about how to reverse the aging process and take care of ourselves better so we can show up every day as the best versions of ourselves; being a better parent, spouse, friend, team member, and developing a richer life through having a handle on our own health.
Jake Thompson - Compete Every Day
Jake is the author of the book "Compete Every Day" and really the champion of the concept The Exchange was based on this year: the Compete to Win. Jake was able to hone in on what it does for us personally when we push ourselves to be the best and tap into that positive mindset that will really launch us forward. That positively affects the other aspects of our lives, so we become our own story champions.
Janine Driver- Emotional Intelligence
We brought Janine back again after last year's Exchange. We integrated her expertise on understanding body language and what influences human behavior into our culture plan. She is an EPM friend that we always love having around because she helps us evaluate the things right in front of us on a deeper level. She helps us understand and trust our instincts and make better decisions overall and build a deeper understanding of interacting with each other and our consumers.
Ryan Jenkins- The Power of Persuasion to a New Generation
Ryan sparked much collaboration about serving a new generation of homeowners and adjusting to what their needs are today. We need to stay on the cutting edge of what's happening globally as far as technology and client experience, so we can serve our consumers with what they want and what will help set us apart as an organization they want to partner with.
Looking at how we make adjustments and changes to ourselves to embrace the culture at EPM helps ensure that we are always evolving and competing to win. We're motivated to grow into the strongest and best version of ourselves so that self-improvement translates to our organization's success and, more importantly, our communities' success.
