Episode Six - Bottom or Top Heater Error, Call For Service Error Message
Peachtree Foods
Always striving to raise the breakfast experience by providing solutions that redefine the traditional buffet breakfast.
A Top or Bottom Heater error can be caused by a number of reasons. The most likely being that the hotplate itself is not inserted properly so it is unable to reach the target temperature within 10 minutes of switching the machine on. This can happen during cleaning, belt changing or if the machine is moved.
The solution to rectifying this issue is to reinstall the hotplate, ensuring it is fully connected at the back of the machine. Please see below steps for how to reinstall a hotplate:
?BEFORE DOING THIS PLEASE ENSURE THE MACHINE IS TURNED OFF, IS COMPLETELY COOLED DOWN AND UNPLUGGED FROM POWER SOURCE.
1.???? Open the front door of machine. Remove the 2 supporting Pins from the Hotplate
2. With two hands (in front of rollers), pull the hotplate out about two or three inches so it still remains on the prongs. You will need to pull the frame with force in order to get the hotplate out.
3.???? With a hand on either side of the hotplate (in front of each roller). Firmly push the hotplate in so you can hear a click.
4. When the hotplate is in correctly it will align flush with the prongs it sits on.
5.???? Screw the supporting pins back in to the hotplate as firm as possible, but being careful not to over tighten.
You have successfully reinstalled the hotplates, you can now plug the machine in and turn on ready for use.
