Epiphany

It has been a long holiday and I hope everyone has had a good rest and a wonderful time with families & friends, the people we love. 

This is a tough year with various negative news but I hope we all can perceive the light, feel the heart-warming moment, the kindness from people around us, and overcome all problems to have a brighter 2021.

The following scenarios can happen to any of us anytime:

• Give client advice on business / strategy / operation / expanding / hiring / firing…
• Feedback superior our work / plan / schedule / reasons…
• Comment on business / customers / colleagues …
• Discussion about various things among families or friends

It is not always easy for us to give the most objective opinion considering the benefits we may be involved in, plus our human nature which make us incline to think we are right and others all have bias (They are all wrong.).

Objectivity has been playing a very important role. Nevertheless, there are much more tough choices in front of us.

For most time, people are clear-minded and objective, What If

• Give objective appraisal to our colleague who is competing the same promotion with us.
• Give objective advice to management level, which may jeopardize our own position /authority / work scope / work load / team size…
• Admit to client that our competitor’s work is impressive when we are involved in the same project.
• Admit to customer that our products are more expensive but same quality with our competitor.

The older I am, the more I want to explore the origin and after life, which in turn make me more firmly believe there is a reason for anything happen in our life.

Our words, behaviors have influence on others on different levels. (Like you are reading my words here.) Anyone has power and influence to the small world we are living in, to the people around us, even to the strangers cross our lives…

Most of us will never have the courage to pursue something truly fascinate us.

Most of us never have a DREAM or already forgot our dreams long time ago and What Do You Expect To Lead Us through our whole life?

Most of us are purely lazy and lack the mtivation to challenge ourselves to a higher place.

Most of us are mediocre and will die silently and never find out Who We Are and What We Could Have Done.

I am only a small potato but I hope I can leave something behind, which can have lasting positive impact on others. It is easier to live like everyone else while it requires more courage, energy, effort, hardworking… to follow our heart to make a difference.

I hope everyone can have the courage to ignore the negative voices surrounding us and live your life loud.
