Epilepsy Power Collaborative Labs

The ambitious objectives of EpilepsyPOWER aim at improving the opportunities of inclusion of people with epilepsy (PwE) in the job market. The final objective is to increase the number of people engaged in relevant corporate social responsibility epilepsy-friendly initiatives; to spread a culture and a practice for the implementation of inclusion systems for people with epilepsy, based on the enhancement and valorization of their abilities; support universities, companies, micro and small enterprises in inclusion initiatives.

Collaborative labs for best practices – the aim is to lead a discussion and working lab involving the partners, target groups and main stakeholders of the EpilepsyPOWER project. Participants will evaluate and discuss PwE needs concerning their employability with a particular focus on work placement opportunities, safety in the workplace and communication with employers and coworkers.

Throughout the month of February, each partner will host a workshop where invited participants are of a variety of backgrounds including a minimum of:

• 2 representatives of the national hosting partner,
• 4 people with epilepsy
• 2 caregivers
• 1 representative of PwE associations
• 1 neurologist expert in epilepsy
• 3 representatives of higher education institutions
• 2 representatives of companies/other organizations

We at Grenoble Ecole de Management will be hosting our collaborative lab on our Paris campus with the collaboration of the association Epilepsie France on February the 13th. If you are interested in participating, please send us a message.
