Here’s one of many awesome ways to use SharePoint to grow your bottom line and speed up business processes! As you see in the image, I created a field called “Signature” in a SharePoint list which captures a signature drawn on the screen. Just pull up the entry belonging to your customer, then have them sign on the screen with their finger, a stylus, mouse, or pencil eraser. The best part is you won't need to buy extra equipment! This feature immediately improves on the old-fashioned paper sign-in logs at the reception desk. And, for the small business owner like a repairman or a Notary (which I once was) who tracks client signatures in a log book, you can replace the hard-copy Log Book with this SharePoint electronic log.
Since data loss is unacceptable, this is just one more tool in your tool box to help you and your business succeed!
