EPIC Introduces X-Ray

EPIC celebrated the addition of further investment in its technical capability this week during a Microscopy Day hosted by technology partner Nikon.

The event saw EPIC launch its brand new Nikon XT V 160 which is a world-class X-ray and CT system for non-destructive inspection of electronic components (PCBs, BGAs, chips and much more).

Nikon showcased the full range of microscopy and metrology capability available within EPIC in addition to new technologies within their extensive portfolio.

Business that are located within the centre have access to over ￡3M worth of technical capability including die and wire bonding, device packaging, fibre alignment, laser etching, microscopy, X-ray / CT scanning, bond testing and 3D printing.
