EPIC continues to strengthen ties with industry partners by hosting a successful delegation of top German photonics and microelectronics companies. This trade mission provided EPIC and its businesses an excellent platform to showcase advanced technologies to renowned European companies.
The event also offered the nine visiting German guests a valuable opportunity to showcase their own technological advancements and explore potential collaborations with the Torbay Hi-Tech Cluster. The occasion was enhanced by an extensive tour of EPIC's state-of-the-art facilities, giving the guests a first-hand experience of the centre’s impressive capabilities and breathtaking views from the centre’s roof.
?EPIC Centre Director, Wayne Loschi, expressed his excitement about the event, "This was a landmark occasion for Torbay. EPIC and our technology cluster were selected as part of a prestigious trade mission, aiming to unlock the vast opportunities in the field of UK photonics."
?Building on the success of previous visits from Dutch and Finnish clusters, EPIC remains committed to attracting international partners and increasing collaboration with other innovation centres.
