85% of people in Ireland are worried about climate change, 37% are very worried. Despite these high levels of concern, there is a sense that ‘others’ (such as people in other countries and people in the future), will be more impacted than Irish people in the here and now.

EPA has prosecuted?Uisce éireann?for failing to comply with the trihalomethanes (THM) limit in drinking water supplying Kilkenny City's (Radestown) Public Water Supply. More info here.?
The EPA's latest National Priority Sites list features seven sites in total, four of which are from the Food & Drink Sector, two from the Waste Sector and one from the Surface Coating sector. Licensed facilities with notably poor environmental compliance performances are known as National Priority Sites (NPS). More info here.
