EPA: New Funding Opportunities: Businesses need not apply
New Funding Opportunities: ?
The US EPA is seeking technology solutions to address water and soil issues such as manganese treatment in small drinking water systems; ?and PFAS uptake and bioaccumulation in plants and animals.
I am sure many others have received the “New Funding Opportunity” flyers from the EPA over the past few weeks.?
On September 29th, it was a request for “Treatment Technology Demonstrations Using Practical and Affordable Manganese Treatment for Small Drinking Water Systems”.
On October 6th, it was a request for “National Priorities: Research for Understanding PFAS Uptake and Bioaccumulation in Plants and Animals in Agricultural, Rural, and Tribal Communities”.
A common theme to both of these projects is the need for innovative solutions to be identified.? ??However, the innovators who reside in for profit businesses are ineligible!!!
