EP.2 -Interesting things from Panasonic, the world of tech, business and beyond.
After almost breaking the internet with my previous article I thought lets do it all again! Unfortunately it's the difficult second album. I'm questioning myself - Can it live up to my debut? Am I pushing the boundaries enough? Will my life spiral out of control?
Lets find out!
Something...to drool over.
I have to admit the folding phone hasn't captured my imagination, it's great technology but I don't see the use or benefits... but the folding laptop/tablet is definitely for me!
The Flexbook concept by Joans Daehnert can convert from a 12" laptop to a 17" touchscreen by flipping the keyborad round 360 and unfolding the screen.
I feel this is a much more useful application of the folding screen technology. I can see it being used in a number of ways. Perhaps by sales when visiting customers, they could give a great interactive presentation on the large screen then write up their notes afterwards all from the one device.
How could you see this being used?
Something...to binge.
If Friends wasn't a good enough reason to get Netflix then the series Explained should be!
In short 20min bursts it covers topics from cryptocurrency to K-pop from wealth to cults. So there is something for everyone. If you don't have Netflix get the 30-day free trial to watch this.
Something...from LinkedIn.
Gone have the dark days where LinkedIn was all inspirational quotes and people turning everyday situations in to deep and meaningful business lessons. Nowadays there are lots of great content producers on LinkedIn creating original, and dare I say funny content. (Much to the disgust of those people on LinkedIn who like to say "this isn't facebook" to anything mildly humorous). One of the people I have started following is Dan Knowlton. He and his colleagues at Knowlton create really funny videos, a recent favourite was this one where they pick out some classic types you find on LinkedIn.
Something...from Panasonic.
I've got to include something from Panasonic right? ;)
This is actually a whitepaper we produced about 2 years ago. It looks at the need for sustainable device strategies and how having one can not only help save the planet but reduce costs for businesses. So win-win!
Just seemed like this is needed even more today then it was 2 years ago.
