Hi everyone, my name is Beatrix. I know you are all probably expecting Debra today! But she is having some family time today as she celebrates her dad's Life. So, I thought I would introduce myself. I am one of her VAs (Virtual Assistants).??

I have known Debra for quite a while now. I used to be her personal trainer back in 2014. She would come in with her two pups at 6 AM every Wednesday morning.??

Just under two years ago, I started my VA journey with Your Virtual Assistant and was asked if I would like to help Debra out, and of course, I had to take it as who wouldn't want to work with her?!??

I have seen how Debra and EOS have helped businesses. She cares for people, which makes her approach authentic, in my opinion (I promise I'm not getting paid to say this!)??

She's always a phone call away, and if you have questions about your business or want a chat, she's always there.?

?BETTER BUSINESS: So how does EOS really help?

I get this question a lot. And I can tell you all about how it has helped me, but I want to highlight another person's view on EOS, and I also love hearing stories from other people. So in this article, Tamara Christian, the president and COO (Chief Operations Officer) of the International Spy Museum in Washington DC, talks about how EOS has helped her.??

She started EOS just before Covid hit and decided to go through with it during the lockdown.??

Although EOS was not a quick fix for her (it's not a quick fix anyways as you need to put effort into it), she did find that she was troubleshooting at the start, but she did find that she managed fewer and fewer "emergencies" and staff conflicts. Which sounds like a win to me!?

BETTER LIFE: How do you involve your children fairly in the family business?

If you run a family business, then this might help you to have a better life.?

Often with family businesses, you want to involve your children in the job. But trying to get them involved fairly can be tricky. I always wonder if Apollo would be better at being a visionary or if Hermes would be ?? ... Just kidding, of course!??

Sara Stern, also a certified EOS implementer, shares her experience helping family businesses. One of the things she mentioned was that they should create an Accountability Chart? before deciding how they will be involved. I'm sure as a parent, you don't want to set your kids up to fail, so using the Accountability Chart? will set them up to succeed.?
