EOI for field trial of Underwater communication set (wired), CRPF (06-Jan-2023)

#CRPF intends to procure Under Water Communication Set (wired) with accessories. Field trial of the above item will be conducted on NCNC basis to check performance of Under Water #Communication Set (wired) in field environment as well as to check compliance of the parameters of NDRF specification. Only those firms would be allowed for the bid on GeM whose samples meet the requirement of the force as per specification during the field trial.

i) Essential parameters:-

a) Should be able to maintain voice communication between surface team and divers under water to a depth of 50 meters with 02 channels.

b) Should be rugged.

c) Have mechanism to prevent water from entering the system.

d) The supervisor set should permit hands free use on the diving site

e) Length of the umbilical provided -50 (meter) with Strength minimum 1500 N.

ii) General parameters.

a) Battery backup time should be minimum 08 Hour.

b)Type of components/connectors used should not be of fragile material and compatible with each other with quick removal system.

c) Operating Temperature Range- (-) 10 to (+) 50 Degree C.
