“Comparison is the root cause of all evil.”
Or is it?
Have you ever felt intimidated by another human’s success?
???The founder with a million followers on social media. The one who pitched their idea (zero traction) that’s just secured £££££££’s of investment?
??The co-worker who just got promoted?
???Your friend who seems to have it all (without even trying)?
That’s envy rearing its ugly head.
At first, you feel angry that you’re not getting the same shot at life. You might tell yourself, “Good things never happen to people like me” or kid yourself that you never really wanted what they have anyway.
Over time, this snowballs into irritation, disappointment, and hard feelings.
Envy is a silent emotion. When it manifests itself internally, it usually does so through negative self-talk.
“I’ll never get there…”
“I’m not one of the lucky ones…”
It gets a bad rep but along with the bitterness, there’s beauty in envy.

A little bit about me (your guide)
For those of you I haven't met yet, I'm Ashleigh, founder of More Happi :) Nice to meet you! ??
I’ve worked across 9 industry start-up sectors, ranging from fashion trend forecasting, to wool, tampons, sustainable lightbulbs and more.
I trained to be a coach in 2020, after over 20 years in Product, Marketing and Leadership roles.
I noticed something that irked me.
Coaching is transformational for people’s life and career.
But the coaching industry was broken. ??
Due to high costs, only the usual suspects at the top of organisations were able to benefit from the superpowers that professional coaching brings — fuelling a vicious circle of privilege that sustains the status quo and leaves everyone else behind.
It wasn’t fair. So I’m fixing it. And so far, thousands have benefitted.
