Regarding AI and HR, the advances in this space are largely gated and algorithmic based on skills and experience alone. This is where the human-AI partnership can be valuable. Today's workforce needs new perspectives, ability to thrive in a change rich environment, and a drive to be a lifelong learner. Evaluation and elimination of candidates based on only skills and experience may miss the candidate that will be able to bring the role or the organization to the next level of competitive advantage. We still need the human interaction to gauge cultural fit, ability to learn and grow, and ability to bring experiences from one industry into a new one.
