EnviroServ helps Vulumzi fundraise with fun run

Vulumzi Senior Secondary School in Gqeberha hosted their second Mandela Day fun run last weekend, and EnviroServ was once again a proud sponsor.

Nelson Mandela International Day is an annual international day in honour of Nelson Mandela, celebrated each year on 18 July, Mandela's birthday.

The 5km run/walk event, last held in 2019, took place at the Motherwell high school on Saturday July 23 and was well-attended by scholars, teachers and the community, said Zingisa Mabangula, EnviroServ Community Liaison Officer. EnviroServ donated R10?000 and the money raised at the event will be used towards the cost of building a new school hall.

“We have adopted Vulumzi as one of our projects, it is important for us as a corporate to do good while doing well,” she said.??
