Environmental Regulations 101

I feel the pain of people who, for whatever reason, found themselves with the environmental regulatory responsibilities at an industrial facility without proper background, knowledge or applicable experience in the environmental field. Not knowing what you don't know could be quite of a disadvantage... Knowing where to start from and how, the complexity of environmental regulations, penalties, fines, earning the respect of leadership team and the trust of your peers and other workers could be physically, emotionally and mentally exhausting and draining. Getting a handle on all of this takes some time, effort, commitment and strategy.

Having the platform to share what I've learned in the past 18 years dealing with hundreds of environmental professionals, colleagues, auditors and industrial facilities in the U.S. and other countries, my goal is to help the environmental professionals or others with environmental responsibilities to survive and thrive in their roles.

Environmental Regulations 101 is a 2-day online course with breaks. We provide handouts and a recording of the entire course for all attendees. This includes the registrants that could not attend the live session.

We focus on the most common Federal environmental regulations with sampled state variations including EPCRA Tier II and TRI Reporting, Stormwater Regulations, Industrial Wastewater Discharge, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures, Air Permitting, Hazardous Waste and Universal Waste.?

1) A brand new environmental professional with very little to no experience

2) A seasoned Environmental, Health and Safety professional with more focus on safety but less on environmental

3) An ISO 14001 auditor or
