Tsinghua University is an institution of higher learning that many students dream of. From the past to the present, it has nurtured generations of national scientific research talents. Many people come here because of its resounding title, cherish the memory of the Chinese scholars in Tsinghua Academy, stroll near the Spring Garden to admire the moonlight of the lotus pond, and admire the majestic design of the gymnasium, but few people noticed that ROHM building was slightly visible under the glory of Tsinghua University.
If the words "Tsinghua Park" represent the profound history of this school, then ROHM Building, a modern building integrating culture, aesthetics and high technology, has always put Tsinghua at the forefront of the times. As the electronic engineering department building of Tsinghua University, it has always been known for its advanced scientific research facilities and a strong academic exchange atmosphere. It continues to export high-end scientific and technological talents to schools and the country, and is the cradle of world-class scientific research achievements and advanced technologies.
With the new technology of intelligent micro-module 3.0 and excellent integrated service capabilities, Envicool successfully obtained the upgrade and transformation project of high-performance modular computer room of Tsinghua University. With high-quality solutions, efficient integration capabilities and strict construction management, it won recognition by this top research institution.
The original equipment in the data center room of ROHM Building in Tsinghua University does not have intelligent functions and cannot be automated for operation and maintenance. With the deepening of information construction, the problem of high heat density in the computer room has become more and more prominent. Tsinghua University plans to demolish, relocate, build and rebuild all equipment in the original computer room of the ROHM Building.
In this regard, Envicool supplied Tsinghua University with server racks with cold aisle closed, PDUs, power distribution systems, integrated wiring, power environment monitoring, and row based cooling. At the same time, it also undertakes the basic equipment construction and decoration of the computer room, the supply of the above-mentioned equipment, installation, old equipment relocation, main equipment cut-over, system debugging and other services.
With the characteristics of high-density deployment, smooth expansion, visualized automatic operation and maintenance, etc., Envicool smart micro-module 3.0 can shorten the modular deployment time by one-third with high efficiency and energy saving, intelligent interconnection, safety and reliability.
Based on the insufficient area of Tsinghua University, Envicool plans to use a centralized condenser for the outdoor unit of the air conditioner to reduce the space. The use of high-efficiency and energy-saving inter-column cooling solutions can simultaneously seal the hot and cold aisles, so that the PUE values of the two computer rooms are controlled below 1.3.
The smart micro-module 3.0 adopted by the project is the latest generation of Envicool. It will provide a real-time door lintel display system for important indicators such as PUE, load factor, and critical alarms, an intelligent visualization system linked with alarm operation and maintenance, and a linkage with high-temperature fire alarms. The intelligent lighting system can visualize alarms and automate operation and maintenance, even non-professional operation and maintenance personnel can easily operate.
The monitoring system adopts a new generation architecture, which fully supports various forms of alarm transmission and command operations such as APP, mobile phone text messages, mobile APP, WeChat, etc., and key equipment reserves asset management functions.
The extremely high efficiency fully reflects the superiority of the intelligent micro-module products, and the later functional modules can achieve smooth expansion and online upgrades to meet the needs of the continuous update and development of ROHM Building's scientific research hardware equipment.
