Envato ranked as one of the world’s largest online marketplaces

Envato Market has been listed for the third year running on a ranking of the top 100 largest consumer-facing marketplaces and private companies.

The?Marketplace 100, published by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, ranked Envato 38th on their now annual list, making it the only Australian company to be listed.?

Envato was one of five non-US based companies inside the top 50, and one of only three Professional Services entries, alongside Peerspace (52) and Toptal (58).

Instacart topped the list for the second year in a row. Almost a fifth of the companies on last year’s ranking have been acquired or field for an IPO, leading to 37 new entrants into this year’s list.?

Envato was previously ranked 32nd in 2021, and 44th in 2020.?

The ranking comes after Envato had revealed that its marketplace?has delivered more than $1 billion USD in earnings?to its global creator community. The marketplace covers the broadest range of creative digital templates and assets across a diverse range of creative disciplines, including web themes and templates, code, video, audio, graphics, photos and 3D files.

More than 69 million assets have been bought on Envato Market since it was founded in 2006.
