Envase Welcomes Allen Thomas as Chief Commercial Officer

Envase Technologies is pleased to announce the addition of Allen Thomas to its leadership team as Chief Commercial Officer. Allen will report the CEO and join a top-notch?executive team focused on digital transformation and automation systems for ports and landside logistics operations worldwide.??

With over 25 years of leadership at firms such as Maersk/SeaLand, Nascent, APS Technology Group/ABB, Crux Systems, and most recently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer of Advent eModal, Allen is a proven pioneer in envisioning, building, selling and delivering practically transformative IT and automation systems for cargo facilities. His specialties include Port Community Systems (PCS), Terminal Operating Systems (TOS), gate systems, VBS & reservation systems, OCR, RFID, and real-time container tracking systems having implemented solutions for over 35 container terminal operators and freight railroads in 11 countries across the globe.?

As Chief Commercial Officer, Allen will set the strategic vision for the Envase ecosystem and lead?marketing,?sales and customer success initiatives for Envase and its sister company, Nascent Technology.?With nine strategic acquisitions and four new products released in just the last few years, Envase is well on its way to realizing its vision of building the first end-to-end drayage ecosystem that truly optimizes cargo flows throughout the supply chain.??

As an industry thought leader, Allen has contributed bylines and articles for publications such as World Cargo News, Journal of Commerce, Container Management and Port Strategy and is a routine speaker and panel moderator for JOC, Lloyds Group, IANA, Informa and other industry trade groups. He’s been an active member of the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) and the Port Equipment Manufacturers Association (PEMA) where he served as inaugural Chairman of the Technology & Automation Committee. He is a devoted dad, dog person, paddle surfer, music lover and immersive travel hound. Allen lives beachside in Encinitas, CA. but can usually be found in his garage taking classic car restoration direction from his two teenage daughters.
