Graduate Engineer – Australia

You will feel supported throughout the recruitment process with a phone screen call with our recruitment team followed by a 1 on 1 interview with a Building Solutions senior manager. This role is based in ACT, due to the scope of clients we work with we are seeking a candidate who is an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident as If you are successful for this role, you will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (NV1 minimum).

We have an exciting opportunity to join Honeywell as a Graduate Engineer working within our Building solutions division.

Job Responsibilities:

· Service maintenance and repair of HVAC, CCTV, Access Control, Security, and Third-Party Systems

· Project management of service projects and small works including high level of customer management and ensuring project milestones are achieved.

· Technical consulting, design and implementation support to the service business and customers.

· Working with customers to understand process and design needs.

· Develop software, perform ‘bench testing’ and actively assist in the start-up if required.

· Management of suppliers and sub-contractors

· Ensuring adequate records are generated and maintained, documenting the engineering process undertaken and following engineering procedures.

Qualification:

· Relevant Undergraduate Degree – Engineer (Automation, Instrument & Control, Computer Sciences, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Data Sciences or similar) completed in the 2 years preceding the start date for the Graduate role, February 2024.

· Strong Communication and interpersonal skills

· Think on your feet.

· Customer focused and problem-solving skills.

· Curiosity
