Entropia's TETRA and Broadband critical service

Entropia signs approx. € 2.5 m network agreement for public transport infrastructure.

The agreement was awarded to Entropia and provides not only for the supply of TETRA network subscriptions but also for the supply of terminal equipment and accessories, including maintenance, repair and national ComBus control room positions in the Entropia mission critical cloud.

Briefly, this agreement is executed in four facets:

  • A mission critical service agreement for Incident Response operating on the nationwide new Motorola X-core geographically redundant Entropia network;
  • Access to the national Entropia network for the transport infrastructure on a subscription basis;
  • Delivery of Sepura TETRA terminal equipment and various national ComBus control room applications with GIS cartography and intelligent man monitoring;
  • Supply of accessories in the broad sense of the word.

The Entropia network will be used for the maintenance, renewal, expansion and safety of the national Dutch public transport infrastructure and the safety of the Dutch population.

Mission Critical Communications with Entropia

Subsequently, Entropia continuously innovates its network to sustainable mobility.

Through innovation we enable more masts to be added with a view to low energy consumption and non-ionizing radiation.

Entropia also offers broadband connectivity independent of specific GSM operators. Via ComBus Critical Cloud network profiles, Entropia now offers an integrated mission critical broadband service in combination with its national TETRA network.
