Entrepreneur-SHIFT?
“The greatest discovery of my generation is that people can alter their lives by altering their attitudes.” -William James
Can you imagine it; changing your life by changing your attitude? Could a shift in your mindset really shift your life around? What if you shifted from an employee mindset to an entrepreneur mindset? Can you imagine how your life would change? What would it take for you to make the SHIFT?
S Surpass the status quo
H Honor your values
I Impact the world
F Focus on your purpose
T Transcend boundaries
Entrepreneurship is exactly that, surpassing the status quo, honoring your values, impacting the world, focusing on your purpose and transcending boundaries. Entrepreneurship all about becoming the person you are meant to be.
Admittedly, anyone can manage a project, reach a particular goal, and accomplish critical and high demand tasks.
However, what distinguishes an entrepreneur from all other professionals - is found in their ability to perform a multitude of tasks simultaneous to facing extreme difficulties. Entrepreneurs remain steadfast, bold, and possess and unflinching desire towards taking risks, all the while accepting challenges in order to reach the desired outcome.
Create Your Own Opportunities & Destiny
In 2009, the International Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), published a study determining the mean, median, and standard deviation incomes for Entrepreneurs ― controlled for education, general ability (as measured by standardized test scores), and demographics (including age and parental income) ― tended to be higher than those of typical employees.
The difference is significant. The mean income for Entrepreneurs is almost 50% greater than for “employees.” Interestingly enough, this effect is not explained by “professional” entrepreneurial pursuits such as opening a medical or law practice. Why is this?
The study theorizes that entrepreneurs effectively control their environments in order to highlight and cater to their particular strengths. Whereas, employees play it safe by erecting “guard rails” and “iron cages” within corporate America.
Entrepreneurs establish environments over time which maximize the value of their educational and unique skills. This makes intuitive sense: create an environment that plays to your strengths. Ultimately, you’ll be happier and more productive by continuing to work towards the areas in which you're the most passionate about!
If you've never been an entrepreneur, what's holding you back?
It's time to take control of your professional destiny. To be perfectly candid, it's simply no longer plausible to be both profitable and create a legacy through conventional methods of employment.
Entrepreneurship enables you to love problems and see them as terrific opportunities for growth and improvement. An entrepreneur has a mindset for success and recognizes the road to success is always under construction. It's imperative to realize that all problems are solvable and each come with invaluable lessons.
Never forget that difficulty – when overcome – makes you stronger in life. Entrepreneurs are undaunted by what might hold others back. Hence, entrepreneurs are thus equipped to accomplish bigger goals and convert their visions into a solid and sustainable reality.
Entrepreneurs don’t just like to win -- they live to win. Winning is not just their habit but their lifestyle – its encoded in their DNA. Entrepreneurs press on despite difficulties and never allow them to affect their attitude or performance. Winning is like OXYGEN for them. They value opportunity more than security. Entrepreneurs live by a simple equation: Potential over complacency = excellence over the status quo!
Entrepreneurs:
? Work extremely hard
? Live without excuses
? Start early and remain late
? Invest skin in the game
? Always take calculated risks
? Understand the balance of giving up in order to go up
? Remain steadfast, while others quit
? Possess passion for what they do
? Cultivate high self-worth
? Invest in themselves
? Micromanage themselves
? Motivate themselves
? Appreciably serve others
? Forward facing, and never look back
? Constantly create opportunities
? Always DREAM passionately
? They enjoy life to the fullest
Please allow the following inspirational quotes to serve as the catalyst for igniting your passion towards becoming the entrepreneur we both know you're capable of becoming!
“Entrepreneurship is the process of conquering fear by getting out of your comfort-zone and living daily in your God-given gift zone.” - Farshad Asl
"Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t.” – Anonymous
“If you’re not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you’ve launched too late.” -Reid Hoffman
"They are connected to the source of success."
Genesis 1:26-31
“Then God said, ‘let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
And God blessed them. And God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.
Bible says: ‘be fruitful and multiply.’
According to the Bible, the Lord created each and every one of us in his own image, and then ‘God blessed us.’”
According to the Bible, we were born to be successful. Hence, it's extremely plausible to accept that we were born to become entrepreneurs and dynamic leaders. You might naturally wonder, “what’s stopped us then?"
The answer is very simple. He has given us the freedom of choice, the power of free will, and the power of the mind. However, we choose to allow FEAR to govern our FREEDOM. God commands us to use our talents productively. We are exhorted to work, be creative, and to reject idleness.
The truest measure of success is predicated upon our ability to create a vision, communicate that vision, and to act heavily upon that vision. Never lose sight of the fact that WE add value to others by helping them grow with us along this collective journey of life.
